Job description

We are a small pool management company based and operating in Virginia. Our pools vary from small to very large community pools. We encourage and support our employees, many of whom return year after year to work for us.

We have pools in the following areas: Alexandria, Fairfax, Springfield, Ashburn and Haymarket.

Wage and housing

WAGE:

$16 for returning with early arrival
$15 for returning late arrivals (unless they made that this summer, then $15.50)
$15 for early arrival with $200 bonus (before opening = May 24)
$14.50 for first timers with arrival after opening

Overtime: yes, lifeguard overtime wage is 1.5x base wage

Working days/hours: 5-6/week, around 40-45 hours/week

Housing:

Expenses: $200/week + $200 refundable deposit (if apartment is left in good condition). Estimated cost of housing per season $2,800.

Rent is deducted from paycheck, all utilities are included except Internet ($15 per month).

Apartments are fully furnished – beds, bedding (pillow, sheets), table and chairs, silverware, pots, plates, etc., shower curtain, cleaning supplies, toaster, living room furniture, lamps. 3-9 people share the unit, approx. 3 tenants per room, 2-3 bedrooms per unit.

The Washington DC Metro area includes Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC, the U.S. capital city. Within the Metro area, there are a million things to do and something for everyone to enjoy. Indoor activities including shopping, museums and great restaurants.

Outdoor Activities include hiking, water and amusement parks, national parks and (just a few hours away) the ocean!
