How to get to Canada?

What does this program offer you?

Best Education

Praktice skills

Honorable diplomas

New friendships

The WORK & STUDY CANADA program is intended for those who want to develop and invest in their future. In addition to an unforgettable time in Canada, you will be trained internationally. This program will provide you with qualifications in your chosen field, making it easier for you to apply for a job in Canada. Another benefit you get in college are employee visas and great references, which will be an advantage when you are looking for a job in Canada. The program has no limit and can be used throughout the year. It can be used by almost anyone who wants to live in Canada, because he is unlimited in age.

  • you want to learn and develop
  • age 18-40
  • english language test of the selected school
  • cover letter – why do you want to study a given field in a selected school + previous experience
  • communicative level of English (interview on skype)
  • financial resources (tuition, maintenance cost)ts, return ticket
  • diploma of the highest education in English

Thanks to the wide range of schools we work with, you can choose what you really like and where you want to work in Canada. We offer specialized courses such as hospitality, business management, international trade, IT, project management or social media management. If you like sports and mountains, you will definitely choose from courses such as mountain guide, ski or snowboard guide.

The advantage of this program is the possibility of obtaining a work permit. From the first day of entry to Canada, you can work in addition to education, working part-time, i.e. 20 hours a week, and after completing your studies, working full time, i.e. 40 hours a week. The program also offers the opportunity to directly combine learning with practice, as the school can help you find a job in the field in which you study. With the level of experience and level of English, the chance to find the best job increases. The choice of a specific job also depends on your level of English and previous work experience. The longer you study in Canada, the better work you can find.

Conditions for the Program Participation

Several restrictions have been made to the program participation conditions since the 6th of June 2014. Most importantly, language course students are no longer eligible for a work permit which is why the program is now restricted to professional course, college, and university students only (see our blog for more information). What is also required in order to be admitted to the program is your motivation and a sufficient level of English.

Professional Course vs. College vs. University

  • Professional Course – is a short-term course focused on gaining practical knowledge in a given field of study, most frequently in business, hospitality, customer care, etc.
  • Career Colleges – are focused both on gaining experience in a given field of study just as on getting a thorough theoretical background of the subject matter. Each course usually lasts between one to three years, including work placement within the studies, depending on the studied course. Courses such as IT, Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or Medicine are very common. Career colleges have several intakes throughout the entire academic year.
  • Universities – it is fairly expensive to attend an institution of a Canadian higher education for an international students due to high tuition fees. On the other hand, it is the university students who benefit the most from the changes put in place in June 2014 as they are no longer limited to working on campus only. Moreover, they can also commence working from the very first their of their studies. After graduation, all international university students are eligible for a graduation work permit which is an open work permit for the same duration of time as was the student’s university studies.
